Participating in our testing program

Secrets Vault is a new solution based on a visual cryptographic protocol, which requires extensive testing before being widely available.

We invite users with any level of technological knowledge to join us and test it. Depending on your technical expertise, you may contribute more or less, but there is work for everyone.

To join the testing program, join our Discord server, choose your role, and follow the instructions below.

What can be tested

As of today, testing will be focused on two options that implement the Secrets Vault protocol:

The process for using Secrets Vault is pretty straightforward, so we expect users to be able to employ the solution with limited guidance.

Also, pay attention to other community activities that will be run in parallel!

How do I report my findings

If during your testing, you find a bug, error, or typo, follow these steps:

Check if someone else has reported the same issue. You can search in our Discord server, typically in the "bugs-report" channel.
If it hasn't been reported, or if it has but you have additional details to add, share your findings in the "bugs-report" channel on Discord. Provide as much detail as possible, including screenshots if applicable, browser version, OS, and even browser logs. If it has been reported and you have nothing to add, just add an emoticon to the original post to indicate that another person has experienced the same issue.
Our team may reach out to ask for more details. In that case, you may be requested to open a ticket in Discord to follow up more closely and provide additional information.

How do I report my ideas for improvement

If you would like to share your ideas for improving Secrets Vault, please follow these steps:

Check if someone else has already reported the idea. You can search in our Discord server, typically in the “features-request” channel.
If the idea has not been reported or if you have relevant details to add, share your ideas in the "features-request" channel on Discord. Provide as much detail as possible. If the idea has been reported but you have nothing to add, just add an emoticon to the original post so we know another person endorses the idea.
Our team may reach out to ask for more details. In that case, you may be requested to open a ticket in Discord to follow up more closely and get additional info.

Tracking your contributions

We are tracking your contributions via Discord and via the Secrets Vault application (provided you logged in with some social login or email). If you are using a wallet to log into Secrets Vault, please report your feedback via Discord, or we will not be able to track you and reach you back with your rewards.
